Planning a VBAC - This meeting
will cover basics on vaginal birth after cesarean,
we will discuss the question, 'are you a good candidate
for a VBAC?' and we will talk about how to increase
your chances for a successful VBAC.

Birth Stories - Dad/Partner's Meeting
-There's no doubt that the birth experience impacts
the entire family. Couples and especially dads or
partners are welcome to join us this evening to
discuss their stories of birth and recovery.

Cesarean Awareness Month - Collaborative
meeting with the Tampa Bay Birth Network
- In this meeting we will introduce the Tampa Bay
Birth Network and will have several guest speakers
who will discuss topics in support of ICAN's three
goals: to prevent unnecessary cesareans through
education, to provide support for cesarean recovery,
and to promote VBAC. We will also hear a variety
of different birth stories.

Postpartum - In this meeting
we will share our own postpartum experiences as
well as discuss different factors that can affect
postpartum mood and postpartum tips for new moms.
As always, there will also be time during the meeting
for anyone who wants to share their story.

Birth Stories -This meeting
will be all about birth stories. Come and share
your birth story or just come to listen. We celebrate
all births - vaginal, cesarean or VBACs - so whatever
your story, we hope to see you there.

always, there will also be time during the meeting
for anyone who wants to share their story.

Hormones of a Normal Labor - in
this meeting we will discuss the release of hormones
by the brain in a normal labor, how a c-section can
change this normal hormone release, and what effect
this can have on mother and baby. As always, there
will also be time during the meeting for anyone who
wants to share their story.
